Bosa, an ancient village from which we will leave for our tour, is divided in two by the river Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia and passable for about 6 km from the mouth of the river to the Church of San Pietro.

Its waters reflect the picturesque artisan district with the old bridge and the profiles of the ancient tanneries, a complex of industrial archeology of the first century that characterizes the left bank of the river, on the right bank instead overlook the nineteenth-century buildings, overlooking the medieval district of Sa Costa and from the Malaspina castle.

Crossed Bosa, the river is an exciting moment thanks to the picturesque landscape created by still wild banks, as a backdrop is the uncontaminated nature of the Temo Valley countryside rich in animal and plant species and the Roman-Gothic St. Peter’s Cathedral that rises among the centuries-old olive trees.

When we come back we will cross the starting point looking out into the bosan sea, clear and transparent and with the seabed gently sloping to the open sea.
